Phonetone Yagi Antenna which looks like a good deal for the money ($16.99 plus shipping) and it should serve the purpose. Please let us know how it works for you.
Personally I'd rather pay a little more for a professional commercial grade product, but that's just me.

I receive Columbus on my HP-2 however the Columbus system is very susceptible to Multi-path Simulcast Distortion.
No issues hear it all the time.
You never explained what the issue was. Lots of people are unaware of the analog to digital switch with Columbus.

I'm anywhere from near westside to far westside.
57996 might be SWAT just an FYI operating in the clear.
I live in Hilliard. I have reprogrammed my HP1 to the MARCS IP digital CPD talkgroups, but I am not hearing anything. Occasionally, I hear a transmission from CPD Channel 4 (main dispatching channel for north/central area like Clintonville), but I live closest to Zone 1, 17 precinct. Not hearing any transmissions from Zone 1 or Zone 3, the closest to my house. I have tried everything. Tried just listening to entire database, tried listening to all the MARCS digital channels, etc.
@gthatch - The zones don't matter, the system is simulcast so your proximity to one zone is the same as all the others from a system standpoint. It sounds like you might be suffering from the simulcast distortion that many of us are fighting. Try changing you antenna, changing your location, or adding attenuation.
In R-burg ...I programmed all the sites in Franklin county p-25 on seperate channels and could not hear any C-bus except on the one for the site named Bixby ( groveport) and it was great then ... for now I just scan all the sites but seldom get anything other than on the Bixby site....I think an electric company power station on McNaughten & E.Broad has always interfered with AM radio signal as I pass by it.That may be why I don't even get a distorted C-bus most of the time .It's usually nothing .That power station is between my yagi direction to the C-bus site on Broad St....Does that seem like the power station is a logical reason for my problem .If it is does is there a solution or should I just give up on it ?

Your on the wrong channels, you need to program in the city of columbus Site on MARCS

There are 3 systems in Columbus. Franklin County Simulcast, Columbus MARCS, and Columbus City. Columbus pd is on Columbus City.

I submitted one to the database update. I also heard other swat related activity on another tg. I couldn't pinpoint it as either a secondary CPD swat group or Franklin county SO swat. It appeared they were working together.

Columbus City or Columbus MARCS? I seem to experience the problem on the latter of the two. Columbus City is close to perfect; but the lazelle rd. Tower is almost in my back yard.
