free audio editing software

Hey everyone, I found this website that lets you download free audio editing software. It lets you record for up to an hour and you can crop out the quiet boring parts. Plus its free!Im going to use it to record scanner transmissions. Let me know what you think.

Ps. We should start a topic forum about local scanner recordings.

I know of two free ones. VOX RECORDER and SCANREC (scanner recorder).

Thanks man! yeah I was in the kitchen when I heard them calling pursuit. I ran to start recording and I had the software allready open but my scanner was in a bad positon for the first minute thats why it was staticy. Please anyone else share your audio recordings.
