Circa- thanks for the FreeScan files as I was unable to reach them at their original Sixspotsoftware link.
I assume that this means FreeScan has reached end of life and no more updates or distribution?

The domain expired 7-18-16, this could be that he just forgot to renew it, is busy doing other stuff or gave up.

I am going to lean towards busy with other stuff (like family or work that makes money) and hopefully nothing bad.

Would it be possible for someone to email me any and all copies of FreeScan they have. I reformatted my hard drives and lost the working copy I had. Even a slightly older version would be great. Thank you.

FreeSCAN, the award-winning Freeware program for programming the Uniden SC230, BC246T, UBC3500XLT, BR330T, BCD396T, BC346XT(C), BCD396XT, BCT15X, BCD996XT, BCT15 and BCD996T, BCD996P2 public safety scanners (The 436 & 536 will not be supported).

That's from their website, I think it needs to be a DMA based Uniden.

Correct. The 125 is a standard-bank scanner, so it won't work with FreeScan. The software given on that page are your options, excluding the Scancrap software, of course...Mike

Why aren't you able to use the download link provided?
I can upload it to another hosting site if Mega is the issue.

Also, you're probably going to get spammed to death for publicly posting your email addresses.

I got this resolved via another post. Thank you though.

Apparently windows changes things during auto updates or some such and prolific instituted a new chipset to combat counterfeiting issues etc.

I had to re-install an older version to get it working properly.
