I just tried downloading FreeScan here "http://www.sixspotsoftware.com/downloads" with windows 10 and it said the file "fssetup-218-b6.zip" had a virus. It said was|"Trojan "Win32/Spursint.A!cl ".
Is this just a false positive? Windows Defender automatically quarantines the file.
Is their any other FREE software that will connect to and program a Uniden BCT15X? I'm surprised that Uniden don't include a software program to download for free like they do with some of their other scanners. It wouldn't be too hard to include a basic program to uploading and backing up the BCT15X. It's crazy to think a 9000 channel don't include some form of software to at least get you started and then if you wanted to buy a more advanced program, you have that option.

False positive. That's the official release and it works fine.
