Lads, I have an 8600 Mark II that I have been struggling with for a few years. I couldn't really do anything with it and basically has been lying there until I was persuaded to input frequencies by computer. This has been a great success with VHF but on HF I find that to tune to Shannon Volmet on 5.616 I get the Donald Duck effect until I tune to 5.615. It's the same for all the USB frequencies. Is it something I have done while I was trying to set up the radio. It was ok when I got it first but can anyone suggest a remedy? I would really appreciate some help. It's off by 1 kHz. Thanks.
