Hello,

I am trying to get the following frequencies (from RadioReferance) to work on my BCD436HP scanner. I am not sure of all the settings..
1. Audio Option
2. Modulation
3. or.. Attenuator On/OFF

Here's the list of channels I am TRYING to get working (if they will even work)... is it possible?.. any help would be appreciated.

I also attached a Desktop pic of how I "tried" to enter them.. which is not working.

Again, I appreciate any help that can be provided.

Frequencies 453.5125 and 453.3125 are both noted as Deprecated, no longer in use. However, the notes indicate that they are on the San Antonio/Bexar County ProVoice system now. I do see four talkgroups for the facility on that system. Do you have the ProVoice Upgrade on your scanner?
79929

While 453.5125 & 453.3125 ar marked as Deprecated in the database, the license for them, WPUP339, was either removed or modified in 2019. That license shows that they are authorized to use DMR on those frequencies. I'm way too far away to verify usage. But I would try the talkgroups (if you have the ProVoice upgrade). You might also try those two frequencies as DMR, if you have that upgrade as well. Here in my area, UTSW primarily uses DMR.

The license shown for 453.1000, as well 453.9250, WQEN984, shows as expired back in 2017. The new license is WQYB4551.

The licenses for 453.200 & 453.800 are still valid.

Make sure that the service types entered in your screenshot are enabled. You have two labeled as Schools, three as Public Works, one as 'Hospital', with 453.800 set as Law Tac.

You might get a more specific answer if you have your thread moved to the Texas state forum. There are several San Antonio area members that post fairly often in the state forum. One of them may have confirmed what is actually being used, To do that, do not create a new thread. Instead, click on the Report in the lower left corner of one of your posts, and request that a moderator move your thread to the state forum. Someone in the area would be more likely to see it there.

What a great response. I appreciate your help and have asked the Moderator (though the report option) to move the post, as you suggested. I just made the changes you recommended. We'll see if it works.. hopefully. Yes, I have the ProVoice upgrade... Fingers Crossed~ Thanks again.

Ok, I could really use some help here.. I would really appreciate it if someone (From San Antonio) could help me figure this out. (Someone who is actually able to listen to this location). University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Wanting to listen to the Security/Police. I have tried many ways and cannot seem to get it. I know they have range/repeater because they also have a facility near 1604/90 (Rt 211).

What I'm looking for:
Freq's & Repeater Info

8007480072

And .. all of these settings (shown in attached pics), so I can program it into my BCD436HP. (Yes, I have Provoice and DMR upgrades)

Please help! Really trying to get this to work!

Thanks in advance,

Matthew

Good Evening,

If you are trying to listen to them on their old conventional channels it will not work.. they operate on the COSA/Bexar PS Trunk System

these are the talk groups they use:

80077

I will send you a PM with my contact info, in case you need help with programming your scanner.
