Okay, bear with me here. The TRAC TG (2288) is not working on my 396T or 996T but is working on my 996XT. I have all three side by side holding on this talk group and only the 996XT will follow it.

Can anybody else confirm this? Am I going crazy?

I have tried reprogramming manually, I have tried reprogramming using the computer. There is something weird going on.

I can hear on the 996T and 396T what is being said if I monitor the frequency directly, but the scanners won't track the talk group (other than the 996XT).

I have been hearing new talk groups in the 227xx to 228xx with traffic that would fit in with comms from those folks. On Unitrunker - it shows talkgroups patched from those guys up to these new talkgroups.

The new radio template for Fort Worth PD has new ZT talkgroups in them. The talkgroups used by ZT in the past have been patched to the new ZT talkgroups.

ZT talkgroups? What does ZT mean and what are they used for? Are those the new 22xxx talkgroups?

Okay, let's start keeping track of these.

I just found 22832 which is patched to 3376. If you post here or whatever we can edit the collaborate portion of the wiki for this system and start getting these figured out.

Here are some more:
22736 patched to 2576
22864
22704 patched to 2288 <<<<----- this is TRAC!!!!
22800 patched to 3120
20560
22192
22768 patched to 2832

Added new info to Collaboration page:
http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Fort_Worth_/_Tarrant_County_Public_Safety

The following are new Fort Worth Police talkgroups that I've heard and confirmed.
22704 E-ZT - East Zero Tolerance
22736 S-ZT - South Zero Tolerance
22768 W-ZT - West Zero Tolerance
22800 N-ZT - North Zero Tolerance
22832 C-ZT -Central Zero Tolerance
22864 TRAF-CVE -Taffic Commercial Vehicle Enforcement
23216 CID - Criminal Investigation Division
10704 FWCC - Fort Worth Convention Center
10736 WRMC - Will Rogers Memorial Colesium

There are "SE" - Special Event channels for each division, like N-SE1, N SE2, C-SE1, C-SE2, (central actually has a C-SE3, the other just 2) etc., but I haven't been able to nail down what talkgroups are which. They were active for football games last Thursday-Saturday.
I believe 22192 is N-SE1
22224 E-SE1 or 2
22288 is W-SE 1 or 2
I can't see a good pattern that makes sense, and there hasn't been enough traffic to figure them out yet. Maybe with football season starting and more officers with the new radios it will get easier.

There are also 4 new Texas Motor Speedway channels. TMS1(22576), TMS2, TMS3, and TMS4

Tarrant County College - still using 155.085, but starting to hear units on this talkgroup
24688 TCC PD - Tarrant County College Police

Linn, Glad to.

What I've done is add all the talkgroups from 21808 to 25104(every 32) and to a scan list with the alert sound turned on. That way when I hear the alert, I know it's a new talkgroup, and I should pay more attention to it, and try to identify it. Of course, using trunker helps too, but I'm not always in front of that computer.

112 is Airport operations
20560 is the auto pound
22192 - I believe is N-SE1. I've seen it patched to N-TLK2 before and heard them working an event in the stockyards.

22960 - no clues yet.

Overnight I also logged and recorded 16848 and 16880. They fit into the corrections Talk groups from a numbering standpoint. On 16880 I heard unit numbers 816, 823, 825, 843, 863, and 866. Do these unit numbers fit in with anything?

The traffic on 16848 was brief and just dead air.

Also:
17840
24656
24688 there was testing on this (like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

What does the whole template look like?

I also have 22320 as one of my unknown frequencies but I don't remember what I heard on it.

I have a lot of talkgroups that have been mentioned in this thread on on my site at Trunk Manager for Windows Report

As far as a template goes, what I've seen looks something like this...
E-PTRL
PIC
PIC2
E-TLK1
E-TLK2
E-COPS
E-COPS2
E-CID
E-SE1
E-SE2
E-ZT
duplicated for each division S, W, N, and C

N also as TMS1, TMS2, TMS3, and TMS4

C also has a C-SE3, FWCC, WRMC, ZOO, and Regroup

Other known new talkgroups are:
SSI - probably School Security Initiative School Security Initiative
INTROP1 through INTROP5

22320 is probably C-SE1. They're working a football game now (Azle vs Arlington Heights, which is at Farrington Feild at 1501 N University, which is in Central division).

Perhaps this thread has gotten a bit off track.. Just a suggestion, but a new thread with new Fort Worth PS talkgroups or something similar might be the place to go from here on this.

Running Unitrunker in the evenings and glancing at the log now and then...
