My touch screen no longer responds. Everything else seems to work fine.

Save settings to SD card first. Keep in mind these settings might have buggered touch screen values. If you have RT Systems or some other programmer this is moot.

Could try a reset of the radio. Turn off HT. Hold down all 3 buttons on front, turn on power. I think it will prompt you for reset.

Thanks but screen does not respond so can't do reset nor save settings.

Your back, display, band buttons don't work? They are not part of the screen.

Turn off HT. Hold down all 3 buttons on front, turn on power. I think it will prompt you for reset.

so when you get the prompt OK - a non functioning screen will not allow you to complete the reset.

Did you try any of the physical buttons to accept the OK? Including PTT.

yes radio just starts w/o reset.

Sounds like a trip to the service depot is in order.

Yaesu replaced my cracked nonfunctioning touch screen for the cost of shipping....thankfully. I expected to pay some bucks for the repair
