Now that Al-Jazeera America has self-destructed and will end in April, Al-Jazeera English (in SD) has suddenly appeared unencrypted on Galaxy 19. Whooo-hooo!

Oh that's good!
I cant's wait to check it out. I transferred to Texas and had to leave all my equipment at my house.
My 6 foot dish and KU dish would not fit in the car, lol.
So when I move in the spring I'll be able to bring it all down.

Mesh C/KU band dishes being made again

This is worth bumping because I found a company located in Canada that has recently started manufacturing mesh C/KU satellite dishes between 6 and 12 feet. they do ship to US. This is a big deal because the last time a mesh C band dish was manufactured was over 10 years ago. Here's the link:

TEK2000.com

So.... bumping....

Worth finding a C band dish and LNB, and trying to get K/Ku? I have the real estate to put one in but buying one new (not cheap) - (I am sure I can get a used dish locally) and just not having any real programming - to skip right to the smaller dishes..

Recommendation?

The first sat dealer in the previous page no longer carries the C band combo deal which would have been nice.

Sat forums on the interwebs are loaded with ad's and non-sense so its a tad difficult to find the information

Just remarking on an old post, wonder if anyone is into Ku FTA out there, have a 39 inch dish here with H-H motor, enjoy Hispasat, Gal 19, Gal 17 for feeds (good coverage of the floods in TX).
