I tried to take a picture of but the RR form says the file is to large to attach, I am getting Troop-E site 26 at full scale, however most tranmissions are still largely not understandable, I any suggestions to make a full signal sound like a fulll signal? i am very perplexed

Assuming you are within the coverage area of the site you list, then I would suggest you experiment with filters and IFX.

The "scale" as you call it is a dumb RF signal strength meter. Are you confident that the "full scale" reading you're getting is from the site vs from some other source. Do a "quick search" on each of the 12 frequencies and see if any have a 'pegged' signal. That would answer that.
It would also explain your garbled reception, as you're getting interference.

you never replied to the suggestions in the other thread you have regarding this issue. Have you tried moving the radio around the house? Did you use one of the files offered?
