GALLIPOLIS - Gregory A. Northup, age 55, died last Wednesday afternoon on a work detail for the Gallipolis Volunteer Fire Department.

Northup was a 7 year veteran firefigher for Gallipolis.

He was laid to rest today at Mound Hill Cemetery in Gallipolis with full fire department honors.
