Galveston Island Mardi Gras 2023

I am in the process of programming the routine LE & F/EMS for Galveston Island. I plan on using the Galveston Simulcast site.

Does anyone know of Mardi Gras-specific talk groups or conventional frequencies?

I have specific Favorites for the Galveston LE & F/EMS for the mainland.

You can usually monitor Galveston police command post during Mardi gras on Galveston county sheriff's tg's event A , B , C , D , or E. State troopers can be heard as well working with Galveston police during Mardi gras on these talk groups. be sure to monitor the Galveston county simulcast site
These talk groups may not be heard on other sites

I have also learned to put some of the more juicy talk groups in the mix on the island. I know several folks from Internal Affairs in TDCJ, gang units, etc. I have heard units from the Harris Co DA, TAG, and other talk groups at Mardi Gras, particularly GCI. So, I program these talk groups in case someone affiliates to the system.

Let's see what fish I pull from the gulf. I usually record the entire trip and/or experience for subsequent review. The last time I was in Houston, I heard the a Homeland Security talk group.
