I notice Garfield Hts PD dispatch RID seems to be 1863200 not a 10nn-series Chagrin Valley Dispatch RID. The CVD site doesn't list Garfield Hts as a member agency.
The RRDB shows correctly the FD is self dispatched. I'm guessing the PD should be submitted as self dispatched also.

If I recall correctly, when Southeast Dispatch dissolved, Garfield Hts police became a step child and decided to keep the console dispatch equipment and dispatch their own Pd. Fire went with Chagrin Valley. They both Pd and Fd are using GCRCN network though Chagrin Valley handles fire.

I don't think CVD does GHFD. They are not mentioned as a member agency on the CVD website. And the dispatch RID is 1861245, again not a CVD console RID of 10nn. But I could be wrong. I was once in....lessee....1968 I think....

Ed, all signs point to Garfield Hts being a "Lone Ranger". The last I read was an article dated January 2017 when Maple Hts and Bedford bailed from the SEECC and Garfield Hts objected. It sure looks like Garfield Pd and Fd are doing their own dispatching. It will take someone on here in the know to clarify. I hear very few Garfield Hts fire dispatches but many police.

I can confirm that. Both Garfield Heights Police and Fire are on GCRCN.

As already stated they are not members of the CVD and the dispatch radios are not in the Cleveland console series but the normal 18xxxxx series

For what it's worth. "We will call Garfield Dispatch" is a phrase I hear very often from the Cuyahoga Valley Dispatch. Usually regarding an accident on the I-480 (Valley View) bridge.

When they hand off a call to another Dispatch Center, they use that centers name.

Bud,

I think you have the correct answer, Garfield is self dispatched.
