General Assembly at Jamestown

It's started. Listening to the Parkway Police (167.15 MHz (P25)), they are blocking off the Colonial Parkway from Newport Ave to Jamestown and sweeping the Parkway to remove all vehicles. This is probably the route Cheney is talking from Route 199 to Jamestown. Med Flight One is talking to Williamsburg-Jamestown Airport on 122.800 MHz and have contacted the State Police Command Post at Jamestown on TAC (154.665). Apparently, the Med Flight helicopter is staging at the local airport.

The State Police are using 158.985 MHz to coordinate the movement of the General Assembly. As I write this post, they on I-64 Eastbound near Lanexa.

James City Fire Department is using talkgroup 1267 (James City Special Events 1) to coordinate coverage.

James City Police are using talkgroup 1102 (Traffic Enforcement) to coordinate the blocking of Route 199. Cheney is now at Jamestown.

Virginia State Police are using 154.695 MHz (Surveillance) to coordinate the movement of the Cheney motorcade. He has left Jamestown and is now enroute back to Williamsburg/Newport News Airport.

Thanks for all the updates. It's really interesting to read about what they're using for special events. I have two questions; maybe you can answer them:

1. Are 167.1500 and 168.4250 used in P25 mode all the time now? The database says they're mixed analog/digital.

2. Do you know the inputs for said frequencies?

167.15 is P25 all the time. I'm not sure about the other one. I do not know the inputs...but with a little effort I can figure them out (I live near the Parkway).
