Glow in the dark keypad

Or just do what the PRO-96 can do. The first press of ANY button is ignored and just lights the backlighting. It doesn't matter which button you press.

How durable is this paint ?
Will it withstand oils from your skin or scraping from fingernails?
Do you have to re- apply often ?


I put on about 5 coats them a thin layer of clear expoxy its holding up pretty good so far...

No, but FINDING it in the dark can be. That's why the 'hit any key' function is handy - you can hit any button. You don't have to get oriented at all to find the 'right key'.

really was in response to the original post..

I guess it's diff on each scanner lol.

my pro 83
I go all the way to the left side..and count the 3rd button from the bottom.
not ideal, but it works for me :D
