Does anyone know the plug type or name for the GPS plug which plugs into the side of the scanner? I believe that it is the same plug which plugs into the GPS port on the HP1.

Thanks,

John

I'd like to see a "dummy plug" that would actually fit into this hole instead of the rubber flap which always comes loose on the BCD436HP.

Or the rubber flap has an integrated rubber plug that fits the socket so the flap stays closed better.

I agree the 436HP rubber door needs to be redesigned and replacements should be made available to all current 436HP owners.

The 396XT flap is superior, almost too hard to open up, which is how the 436HP should be.

Even if they put the "hook" in the middle of the two, I think it would reduce the amount of flapping that it does. It would then open to the top or bottom for whichever port you needed.
