1:10 PM Update - Fire is approaching Colorado Springs power plant off of I-25, so more CSFD units responding. Vehicles with live ammo were removed safely removed from path of fire to Butts Air Field on post.

4:15 PM Update Fort Carson fire chief reports fire is 4500 acres and 0% contained. Air drops are started with a single engine plane and they have ordered heavy tankers. Fire is near businesses on the West side of I-25. They have been alerted to evacuate via reverse 911.
