What happened to the GCRCN feed? most of the talk groups have not been seen in WEEKS!! I work at the CLE airport, and we use our radios all the time, yet it says we have nott been seen in over 3 weeks??!!

It also looks like the new 1165 feed provider has much of the system alias' locked out. You'll hear the City of Cleveland dog catcher, but none of the east side LE/Fire.

When medics call the hospital, do they you use the Greater Cleveland system or MARCS? I have only heard Cleveland EMS call Metro on their dedicated trauma channel. Haven't heard anything else. In Columbus, I heard medics call hospitals on a regular basis. Thx.
Not sure about CEMS but most of the suburban medics call the hospitals using cell phones or have their dispatch relay for them. The MARCS hospital channels are meant for hospital to hospital communication (rarely used). I believe Columbus (maybe Akron?) has dedicated channels to some of the hospitals.

Anyone been listening to TG 56821? It sounds like a police or security agency. Units seem to be 100s with “radio” being dispatch.

Dispatch RID is 1860999 with units in same 900 range. Wiki shows this as a CPD portable block of RIDs.

Any ideas who?

Update: Heard units dispatched to Nord Hall. Google shows that as a Case Western Reserve University and units responding from locations near the university. It must be either their police department or security.

Heard “detail at Harcourt House,” as well.

Sounds like Case.

CPD Portables are generally 185(& Badge Number)

That would be CWRU PD. from what I understand security is staying on their current DMR system.

Is it conceivable that Case only has portable radios? You'll hear an entire shift and the officers are clearly mobile and in buildings, but only on one Radio ID the entire day.

I submitted these the other day, not sure when fop701 will have a chance to review it. I believe these to be accurate based on context heard over the past 6-7 days. The first column of parens are the purpose or area of the RNC that TG was used for - I suspect if these TGs remain that will no longer apply.

The 2-3 times I listed a Radio Zone that is what Zone in the handhelds they built these TGs into based on discussion context heard. I'm suspecting the bottom half are all 64, the upper half are 65 but I only heard the three references. Region numbers were frequently heard and you'd hear the units asked to move there show up on the appropriate TG below, or someone would say "you are on region X, zone X":

Decimal Hex Alpha Tag Zone
56660 dd54 REGION IO 18
56661 dd55 REGION IO 19 (Bicycles)
56662 dd56 REGION IO 20
56663 dd57 REGION IO 21 (EMS Units)
56664 dd58 REGION IO 22 (Cut Teams)
56665 dd59 REGION IO 23 (Radio Zone 65)
56666 dd5a REGION IO 24
56667 dd5b REGION IO 25 (White Zone) (Radio Zone 64)
56668 dd5c REGION IO 26
56669 dd5d REGION IO 27 (Gold Zone)
56670 dd5e REGION IO 28
56671 dd5f REGION IO 29 (Blue Zone)
56672 dd60 REGION IO 30
56673 dd61 REGION IO 31 (Puprle Zone) (Radio Zone 64)

This one is a guess on my part based on sequence and the fact that existing REGION IO's end at 16, but that group also doesn't start at '1' either so 17 may not actually exist. I've seen no transmissions on this TG all week:

56659 dd53 REGION IO 17

These encrypted channels absolutely exist. It's unclear if they'll remain encrypted or if they were only used in that fashion for the RNC. The "hit counts" are a day or so old. I am confident that 33 to 39 exist but they were not used over the past three days as far as I can tell.

56675 dd63 REGION IO 33 (nothing heard)
56676 dd64 REGION IO 34 2 hits
56677 dd65 REGION IO 35 (nothing heard)
56678 dd66 REGION IO 36 (nothing heard)
56679 dd67 REGION IO 37 (nothing heard)
56680 dd68 REGION IO 38 (nothing heard)
56681 dd69 REGION IO 39 (nothing heard)
56682 dd6a REGION IO 40 (Encrypted) 84 hits
56683 dd6b REGION IO 41 (Encrypted) 2 hits
56684 dd6c REGION IO 42 (Encrypted) 3041 hits
56685 dd6d REGION IO 43 (Encrypted) 2 hits
55686 d986 REGION IO 44 (Encrypted) 1 hit
56687 dd6f REGION IO 45 (Encrypted) 3 hits
56688 dd70 REGION IO 46 (Encrypted) 2 hits
56689 dd71 REGION IO 47 (Encrypted) 1015 hits
56690 dd72 REGION IO 48 (Encrypted) 721 hits
56678 seen tonight, fully strapped E, D3 zone cars, traffic cars and N952CP, looked like a dirt bike detail with OSP

I put it in my scanner as Strongsville FD Training.
All the RIDs were all Strongsville units and they stated that they are drills.
