Hello. I have a question I am hoping anyone on here can answer for me.

I live by some skidoo trails.

I am just wondering if anyone would happen to know what freq's the Groomers use when they groom the trails. Like if they use a radio to talk to other groomers or to talk to whoever.

So I can hear what they have to say when they are out grooming (that is if they talk).

So if anyone on here would know. I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Check through your business band frequencies. They could be there. I'm pretty sure I heard them in my area a few years back but I haven't heard from them nor do I even know who does it.

Which could lead to a question of, who do they get to do the grooming of the trails? Are they done by the snowmobile clubs, townships, etc....?

Ok. Now that you mention it might be done by the Local Snowmobile Club.
You might be right.

So I would just do a search between where and where. Would that search between the business freq's be from: 150.000 - 174.000 MHz.

Would there be anything if I searched on the TAFL. Or no.

When the GROOMERS are out. If they do use a radio and talk. What would I be listening for to tell me that it is them talking.

Let me know. Thanks.

Also try going to the government of Canada site and do a search on the name of the place, this should keep you busy.

Also try using your search features on your scanner this is something you will be able to use and find lots of frequencies, it takes time but that's part of the hobby.
