Group priority setting

If I set a group id to a high priority, say 1, do all calls to that group id benefit from the high priority even if the calling radio has a lower priority, say 50?

In other words, is it necessary to change each of that group's users to a high priority?

Short answer is no. You can leave the user priorities as-is.

If you set a group's priority to something like 99, you may still hear calls on that group due to users with a priority of 50.

But if I want to listen to all calls on a particular group and I set that group id to priority 1, will I also need to change the individual users to priority 1 or can they stay as is (ie 50)?

No, you can leave them as-is.
