Anyone having any lucky picking up any traffic from the Hall Co SO or Gainesville PD? I've got all of the Hall Co. and Gainesville channels programmed in my 536hp and the only thing I'm hearing is Hall Co Fire/EMS?

SO went quiet over ten years ago. The only TGID's you will hear is FD and some EVENT.
Happened when they switched to P-25 from VHF. I know. I monitored the techs when they were setting up the system. They did mention that the scanner heads weren't going to like the encryption.
Lost my county around the same time. Gwinnett is full time 'E'.

Thanks, that's kinda what I figured. I noticed I wasn't getting any traffic on the old 155.250 freq. that used to stay hopping on my old Regency crystal scanner in my shop. And I thought things went high tech went I bought my old 16 channel, toggle switch programmed, Bearcat scanner.

Seeing that you live in Habersham, you can monitor their system with either the WS-1080, 1088, or TRX series scanners. And, you'll be able to follow Hall FD/EMS/Events TG's, GSP and DNR which are on conventional P-25.
Lots to listen to out there with the proper scanner.

Just purchased a 536HP and trying to figure it out. I'm old school and this is way above my pay grade. The owners manual that came with it is literally useless. I've got all of Habersham programmed in per Sentinel. I'm getting all of the Fire/EMS, both base and mobile. Seems like I'm getting some of the Law Dispatch, but not what I think it should be. And not much talkback from mobile to dispatch, and no mobile to mobile traffic. I'm getting a lot of GSP traffic, both dispatch and mobile from several Posts. Seems like I'm missing something.

Do you have the DMR upgrade for the 536? Can't help you with that scanner.

Like I said. No clue on how the Unidens operate on DMR. I personally use a WS-1088. I've loaded the info that is in the RRDB. You're on your own. Sorry.
