Hamburg PD switched over today to their licensed frequency of 460.3375 with a DPL of 343. The 454.1875 temp frequency is not being used any more.

Just curious why you need the TX DPL ? If you are allowed to TX on the frequency I am sure the police dept could provide you with the DPL.

It is something that is coming from one of their remote voting receivers that they have.

It seems that a another agency is using the same freq. but when that comes in it seems to be encoded.
It seems to occur more during the week. I am listening today on a Sunday and it works perfectly fine. I which there was a way to listen only to Hamburg Police and block out the other agency.

I get that noise also. It sounds like a bleedover or something. that Buffalo PD frequency is very close. You would think that these agencies (or the fcc) would predict interference with such close frequencies (is that is the isuue). I tried using att on my bct15 but i'm too far from Hamburg.

So far I don't see a fix Buffalo's radio system has many reapeters! You need a scanner that can be programed with tone codes. A few years ago Buffalo had to change tone codes, because the Sharref's Dept. splashed over.
