Double-checked and it was 29169 which is in the database already as Westfield PD ENC.

• 29274 - ENC…used by radio ids 2911876, P25T -- only seen this once no a primary dispatch TG

HCPDFD channels
Have the HCPDFD channels always been ENC? Today I saw ENC on:

• HCPDFD 5
• HCPDFD 6

Talkgroup Departments

• 29270
• 29271
• 29272 - Might be Fishers PD since id 2910726 used Fishers PD dispatch before switching to 29272
• 29273
• 29274
• 29275 - Might be Westfield PD since id 2911919 used on both TG 29169 and TG 29275

The database reflects some encryption on PDFD 4, 5, and 6.

Given that Fishers is likely on 29272, the channel line-up may be the same as it was before. 29271 as DSP1 (Sheriff), 29272 as DSP2 (Fishers) and ending at 29275 as Westfield. I would suspect one or more of these talkgroups are used by Carmel-Clay Schools PD since they use S3 too.

I was wondering if Carmel Clays schools switched. I have only seen activity on their secondary TG on OpenMhz since Aug 1. School starts on the 7th so if we see a flurry of new activity on a talkgroup, it may be them.

I wonder if they have a new encrypted headquarters channel?

Just copied DNR talking to the old HC Sheriff County Dispatch TG in the clear.

Might see that for a while if the SAFE-T units don’t have the new programming in their radios.

I see those old talk groups often pop up at the beginning of a shift went officers who have been off go 10-41 on the old talk group. Then I flip over to the encrypted talk groups to see which one they pop up on to find the new encrypted dispatch channel.

Times like this are making me wish I still had Pro96com.

They'd probably switch to Countywide if they needed to talk to IMPD. Last I heard IMPD and Marion County don't plan on going dark.

I have heard IMPD trying to contact Hamilton County 911 on the old non-encrypted TGs.

Not kidding, the HSE School system new radio system is full encryption as well.
