at the end of the day, Disney has a lot of sway .... with LE, with the media, with politicians... etc. They can pretty much do what they want, where they want, to who they want. if you don't like it - you will likely face some consequencies for non-compliance (think an official trespass notification) - of course, YMMV.... but at the end of the day, "reasonable suspicion" and "probable cause" don't go far there.... or in any of the parks for that matter.

keep in mind they have enough power to keep a PERMANENT "Temporary Flight Restriction" over their park(s) - yes, pun intended.

Well they have repeaters on property. I bring at most two portables. Even without my backpack I still got questioned. Maybe the Disney amateur radio club should write a letter to Disney security... :p

I’ve wondered, does Disneyland have their own in-house radio techs, or is the work outsourced to a particular vendor?

Articulable suspicion and probable cause only applies to the government.

None of that applies to Disney, their park, their rules, period.

As long as it doesn't violate Title VII, they can refuse entry or kick anyone out for any reason...or no reason.

What is Title VII? I don't recall anything named like that in reference to articulable suspicion or probable cause. But I've been out of police work for awhile.

Title VII has the federal mandates regarding discrimination (race, sex, religion, etc.)

Interesting read, while very cozy for Disney, i don't think that makes Disney employees agents of the government. I could be wrong.
You're right and that's why they have more freedom to act than government representatives, i.e., police. Probable cause, articulable suspicion, Miranda, etc., mean nothing to them.

Once upon a time yes. A pretty substantial one in FL, big TV/electronic repair shop too.

All outsourced quite some time ago now like many functions, sadly.

If I had a dollar for every time this thread topic rises from the dead.... Go back in time 25-30 years there were HT’s everywhere in the parks, groups keeping in touch etc.

It’s unusual today, but keep it discreet don’t draw attention with tac bags, etc and you’ll have zero issues.

If you think you’ll have a plethora of QSO’s with other people you’ll be disappointed.. local machines are dead, like MTS2000des says.
