Has anyone used Zello to link scanner to Cell Phone?

Thank you for the link but do you have directions from the start to get zello to broadcast from my radio? I am a newbie so something with step by step would be great, lol. I have uniden bcd436hp. Thanks in advance!

Okay... this should get you started. First Zello does not broadcast from your radio.
You install the Zello app on your computer.
You set the gateway up on your computer per the earlier instructions.
You plug your scanner speaker output into the microphone jack in your computer.
The Zello gateway will link to it automatically.
You then download the zello app to your smart phone and set up a new account on the phone.
When the gateway comes up on the computer you select the tools tab, and then add the contact you set up on the phone. Gateway will send an invite to your account on the phone. Just accept it and the two will be linked and the gateway will send your scanner broadcasts to your phone. You can add additional contacts for all your friends who want to hear your scanner as well.
