HAS THERE BEEN A CHANGE IN SYSTEM USE IN FORT BEND COUNTY?

Has Sugar Land, Misssouri City and Stafford changed equipment? I have a Pro-96 and there is no radio traffic. Please help!

Fort Bend County SO and Fire Department Dispatch are on STAR-Net, If you want some TGs then go to home.houston.rr.com/freqzone/freqs/freqs.html

Missouri City has their own trunked system.

I am aware of the frequencies and ID group numbers for the Missouri City tower. It's 4 blocks from my home! What concerns me is that I only receive radio traffic from the FBISD. There is no Stafford, Missouri City or Sugar Land PD radio traffic. I don't think I'm having problems with my Pro-96. Could they have changed frequencies, talkgroup ID's or worse change to a scrambled system like San Antonio!!

They haven't gone encrypted or anything like that, if they did, there would have been a lot of chatter about it. Make sure you have all of the Control Channels in. Are you scanning in open mode?
