Havelock NC Police Radio Changes

Based on my monitoring tonight, it appears the Havelock Police Department's frequency 155.655 has switched to a NXDN96 conventional system. The Dispatch, still in the clear, TG is 26624 and RAN of 32. There was no traffic on the other three frequencies in the database, though it is a good bet they've switched too.

I wonder when they changed. I guess its time to make some calls! I know they also have a VIPER channel but they never use it.

I also I forgot, Craven SO and Havelock PD have been having issues with illegal transmissions on their channels. I know Havelock had someone yell "officer down" on a radio that wasn't programmed properly (You could hear it overhead but not in the dispatch console) and sent them into a panic. Craven had an issue more recently where a person was spouting crap on their channel and they called the FCC in. So that could be the reason for the change.

No idea, was visiting this weekend and ran DSD+ on their frequency, and there it was NXDN.

Hello I was wondering are they encrypted I just buyed sds 100 would I be able to listen to them if I buy. Nxdn are did they encrypted it to oenis it in clear nxdn

Sorry what mean by that how do I get post 1 I got ads 100 I got get wire fixed on it but I wanna fix it but if they keep encyotion stuff inknow fire and stuff wasn't but I am new to understanding this lengo with radios and nexton 96

I'm not familiar with all this NXD stuff, Do I need to get a digital scanner or can I somehow program my BC125AT? Thanks for any help you can give, Thank You.

You need a digital scanner with the ability to receive NXDN, your BC125AT will not work.
