I think if you start at 20 and work down to 5 you have the 16. The other 4 i dont know, maybe fixed frequency nets on the radio selector?

There is a typo in the last column for channel 20. These are training freqs, and it seems you dont need a full set to synch a radio, it appears the radio might be able to learn its net with only a few parameters. So in tactical use, this document will not be of use. I think the SDR gurus should be able to come up with a better solution.

I have radios that will do HQ 1 and 2. I'll read the manual in the link and see if I can make sense of the programming. We occasionally have HQ stuff in this area.

Is HQ primarily a simplex net or do they operate through the UHF Fleetsatcom?

Its a multi frequency hopping net and some frequencies go right through the UHF satcom uplink and downlink bands.

HQ is a LOS mode, but does use some freqs from satellite modes. There is minimal interference, due to the brevity of the transmissions.

Just trying to figure out if fleetsatcom monitoring for HQ might be fruitful. I may need to set up my huge Andrew Bifilar helical antenna again.

HQ is not used on satellite, its a LOS mode.
