Hearing much on Digital?

I was wondering if someone could tell me if there is anything going on, on digital in Lawrence and western morgan counties as of yet?

I know several of the industries along the river are using either Motrbo or Kenwood NexDen systems. As far as public safety, no one in Morgan County is using anything digital or has any plans to go to it any time soon.

Doesn't morgan county and decatur use edacs system also?

There is an EDACS system. It is used by Decatur Fire, Decatur EMS, Trinity PD, Priceville PD, the Rescue Squad, and a few others but it is all analog voice. There is some mobile data on it as well.

I know it's Nothing in Lawrence County yet, Seems they have abandoned their channel 2,4,7 for Verizon
Phones. If its anything more than the actual dispatch now they use the cellphones.
