Hello. Im trying to track down the source of a signal in my town, Fremont. The frequency is 462.5875. It is a paging transmitter. 95% of the pages are hospital/doctor related while the remaining 5% are real estate and apartment maintenance related. Ive tried searching the ULS for that frequency in my town with no results. I figured the signal might be coming from the hospital, so i searched all the hospital licenses to no avail. Its not a terribly strong signal either. When im at home with my bcd396xt and diamond rh77ca antenna, i can only receive it if the scanner is propped up in a window facing the north. (i live on the southern edge of town) Was just wondering if anyone with more knowledge, or better searching skills, might be able to tell me exactly where this signal is originating from. Every now and then it will transmit its call sign in morse code (i assume its the call sign) but that does me no good, since i dont understand morse code. any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Have You tried looking here >> AntennaSearch - Search for Cell Towers, Cell Reception, Hidden Antennas and more. Some people like it, some don't, I think it's useful.

Ronnie, thanks for the link. I'd never seen that site, and had a little fun checking it out. definitely getting bookmarked!
Steve, im not even kidding, i was originally going to just send you this question through a PM, cuz of how knowledgeable i know you are on these things. You hit the nail on the head! I just heard a page on 462.5875, so right when it started i immediately switched to 462.825 and there it was, coming in 100 times clearer! I had a feeling it was either coming from the antenna farm on the hospital, or the one on Gifford tower (gifford is 2510, stanton is 2600). Thanks!
