Could any help me figure out what kind of tower this is and used for there are 3 or 4 of them all on the southside of Fort Smith they have US Goverment posted signs around them. I've just always have been curious. If anyone knows or has any ideas I'd appricate them. There is no FCC number on the fence or anything else other than the US Goverment posted sign. Sorry for the pictures being sideways I'm using RR mobile and couldn't edit them on my phone

Thank,
Chris

Just FYI, U.S. Government radio systems are not done by FCC, NTIA controls them, so you wouldn't see any FCC signage at all. That looks like an Automated WX station, or a linked site... and notice the directional ant on the side... I bet if you look at all 4 you will see them all pointing in towards a central control point. Try using a Close Call/Close Capture equipped scanner and see what you can log as far as freq?

Alright thank you. I have always wondered if they were weather or airport related because they are all positioned around the Fort Smith airport
