I can tell you that TACTEC was a series made by RCA, there was a 200 and a 300 model line
that I know of but that's about the extent of what I know as it was a long time ago.

EDIT: The above info refers to a mobile series - not portables.

Same ugly brown color as in the pic,just in a mobile radio platform.
