Most folks are into Public Safety Monitoring and those frequencies are/have been submitted.

Federal / Military monitoring is a different world and many folks tend to keep that info very "close to the vest" so as to enjoy the monitoring and not see it disappear.

Your best bet is to spend weeks/months with your radio in SEARCH
138-144 Mhz, 148-150.8, 162-174 (yes - Lock out the NWS), 380-400 and 400-420

Federal Monitoring is not like listening to your local PD/FD/EMS, you might have a Repeater right in your own back yard, but it get's used Once a Year. You might even ear stuff for days on end, then Nothing for years.

You likely need to spend some time experimenting with programming those search ranges into your Scanner
Analog, P25
NAC, PL Search
proper spacing 5 Khz, 12.5 Khz etc

i dont know how to do it with the new scanner i have. i found the FBI database but there nothing there for WA state

Try these two for the FBI

Channel Freq Modulation Audio Option
Chelan/Douglas Counties 163.9625 FM Search
Spokane Net 167.2625 NFM Search

Customs and Border Protection:

Channel Freq Modulation Audtio Option
Northport Dispatch Analog 163.775 FM CTCSS 110.9 MHZ
Spokane Dispatch Analog 163.625 FM CTCSS 100.0 MHZ
Spokane Dispatch Digital 163.625 NFM NAC 311

I can't help you on the DOT as they are running a trunked LTR Multinet and there is no scanner that cam pick it up.

If you have a BCD536HP as I do and you upload the database to it weekly you already have those frequencies in your scanner already. I just copied them out of Sentinal to post here.

I was mobile in Spokane today and heard transmissions from the BLM, USFS Idaho Panhandle, Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection which was quite busy chasing down a pickup from Montana. I used the full database with the following service tags:

Federal, Fire Dispatch/Tac/Talk, Interop, Law Dispatch/Tac/Talk

Everything came through fine for Spokane area and Northern Idaho.

I also have Uniden's GPS unit attached to the scanner. Which is the major reason I rarely use Favorite Lists while I travel.

Interoperability. Different departments and agencies connecting to each other. The Deer park zip would let you reach further north.

Stevens county is just like down here in Adams county. Usually pretty quiet. The busiest county down here is Grant. Its never ending. The CBP was busy in the Chewelah area this afternoon when I was in Spokane.
