Do you know what MHz my factory antenna is and do you think I should get a 800mhz for mine

"Stock" antennas are generally considered "all band" which is why they tend not to perform as well as they should.

I use my Radio Shack 800 Mhz for everything as most of what I monitor is 700/800 with some 450 Mhz.

Check the RRDB - you see most if not all of what you are monitoring is 800 with some 700.

So yes, I recommend selection and purchase of a good 700/800 antenna.
