BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Help with CC

Greetings,
I have a BCD996p2. I've always been a little confused about the CC. But always seemed to work through it. I hadn't tried it in a while, so I thought I would. I hit the CC button (squelch). A menu came up , I guess it was scanning. But When I got out of CC, it wouldn't scan, but would stop on every channel as I hit scan.

CC is short for "Close Call".

This explains the various Close Call modes and how to toggle them on and off.

You may have turned the squelch knob by mistake. Try setting it to 2 or 3. If it's at 0 it will stop at every channel especially conventional frequencies.

Turn to adjust the squelch.
