I am thinking of buying the Outdoor VHF-Hi/UHF Scanner Antenna model 20-176 from Radio Shack, I am going to order it online since they do not have it available at any stores near me.
I have searched the web and have not found what connection it has on it, to connect it to the scanner.
Can anyone help me and tell me what cable and connectors I will need to connect this to my Pro-106.
I am planning to mount the antenna in my attic, is this a antenna for that? I am going to be listening to the 460's mhz it says on the web this is where the antenna gets its best performance.
Thanks for your help.

http://www.radioshack.com/graphics/uc/rsk/Support/ProductManuals/2000176_PM_EN.pdf (from the RS product page) states:

Connect the coax cable to the antenna using a PL-259 connector (sold separately).

I can also confirm this is true, as I have one. I used some LMR400 with PL-259 on each end and a BNC adaptor.

It is very small and should fit in just about any attic.

PS. That means the connector on the antenna itself is a SO-239.
