i should be able to hear everything just cuz i didnt program a talk group doesnt mean i dont get it in at least thats how it was on my Pro 96 back in the dayIt looks good, however those agencies don't use WISCOM for daily operations. You will want to add the State Patrol talkgroups and other interops. You won't hear much on the stuff you have programmed.
well being Beloit PD isnt on the Beloit channels the only other place is the state system ... i would guessIt looks good, however those agencies don't use WISCOM for daily operations. Beloit is on the PD channels, they do use encryption on their channels and they are also simulcast. It could be that you scanner is having issues with the simulcast or the encryption.well being Beloit PD isnt on the Beloit channels the only other place is the state system ... i would guess
im starting to HATE this OOM scanners .. lol ok so i want a wild card ... uggg man i miss the channel memory scanners .. so much easier to programNope, you aren't using a Pro-96. If you want to hear everything on the site you need to program a wildcard talkgroup.
i get janesville and and Rock county nac stuff i assume i can get the truck system in but again no way to really check on the 197 that i know of yet still learning the radio .. i have heard nothing on the 400mhz freqs so i assume they were on the trunk system ... i have to get me a 2096 lolBeloit is on the PD channels, they do use encryption on their channels and they are also simulcast. I’ve programmed all the Pro Series and Whistler scanners from the key pad. The Wild Card is a setting to receive any talk group that is not programmed into the scanner. On a Pro 197 on a trunked system you only receive unlocked Talk Groups that programmed into the scanner that are not encrypted. Turning on the wild card lets you hear any unencrypted talk group that transmits on the tower/site your receiving on a trunked system.i get janesville and and Rock county nac stuff i assume i can get the truck system in but again no way to really check on the 197 that i know of yet still learning the radio .. i have heard nothing on the 400mhz freqs so i assume they were on the trunk system ... i have to get me a 2096 lol
