The 154 is local enough that I pick it up in OKc just fine. The 451. doesn't have much traffic.

What kind of traffic are you hearing on the 154.7xxx freq? I did an FCC search, the freq you give does not seem to be valid, but doing a range search (154.7000 to 154.7100), the City of Moore has an expired license on 154.7100 MHz. That seems to be the closest possibility.

It was definitely police traffic. The other one had to have been trunked. I could only here the outgoing, not the repsonse.

The person that had the radio before me thought mauybe one of them was Norman PD or maybe campus police for OU.

I am pretty sure I don't need them, so I am just going to delete them off the radio and fill in with other ones i need.

Thank you very much for your help.

Moore PD used to use it, I've heard it up here in Stillwater (OSU PD has it as their Ch. 2). It may be that Moore is still using it, even though the license is expired. Wouldn't be the first time that has happened.

154.710 is definitely Moore PD.

451.850 is the primary channel for Leon's LTR system.
You're probably hearing the unidentified security patrol
company on this channel. They have two active channels,
one that they refer to as the OKC channel (on the OKC
site) and the other that they refer to as the Edmond
channel (on the Edmond site). They're fairly active all
night long. I haven't been able to figure out who they
are yet.

Actually, there are several security companies on this system. IIRC, Leon explained it as he uses the Edmond and OKC tower, and has five channels basically. When one company keys up, it stops on that channel and only the other radios with the same id can receive. It is constantly moving channels.

As far as I know, Tam and Harris Security, Corporate Security Inc (OKC CSI), and like 4 others use him. I remember programming that in, but then realizing it was a trunked system and the scanner being used would not do trunked progoramming. So we could occasionally hear outgoing, but not incoming.

Does this make sense?
