I do not see a system listed on the database for Henderson county
So lots of speculation on a site that isn't listed or up and running ? I guess we will see. I see the license for the county system in the FCC database

It's been licensed for some time. But until someone can analyze it & get basic information on system ID, control channels for the four sites, etc, then submit it, i will not be in the database.

I'm simply too far out to collect any of the basic details, but hopefully someone in Ellis or Kaufman counties can start capturing some of what's needed.

Henderson County P25 is still in Staging until We need more info like SysID, WACN, Site Numbers; maybe some NACs.
@Russell I think I picked up one of the sites this morning. It was weak and I don't know if it populated all the nieghbors. The frequencies match with what was posted for Larue.
It looks like a Harris system so the NAC on the other sites is probably the same as the RFSS & Site number (in hex)

WACN 929B6
SYSID 00A
NAC 003

I lived in Athens and there ain't nothing sensitive going on to warrant it.
Billy Bob and Bubba talking about who's the best rodeo rider in the county. That was about as sensitive as it gets. LOL!

Reminds me of when Gun Barrel City started using scrambling. Most of the scrambling use was for chatting with the dispatchers or where to stop for food.:LOL:

So far I have logged the following groups

These have been in the clear but I haven't heard enough to determine what they are.

7067
7069

*Edit - I should mention that all voice traffic has been TDMA.

Check 7068. Henderson County doesn't dispatch Mabank. Right now all you are hearing is dispatch setting off the departments pagers on the network. I don't think any departments have their radios programmed yet. I think the dispatch channel is the only non encrypted channel.

I noticed there was a DB update for a new TGID for Westside VFD. I ran the update on Sentinel and I don't see the new TG. I'm probably just missing something. Can someone check that for me?

Mondays usually are when the full database is updated. You can create a favorites list and ID search or enter the talkgroup manually as well.

Starting to see more activity on the system.

Seems that all TGs in the 10xx range are encrypted. Most likely law enforcement

1001 - Most active. Assuming SO Dispatch?
1002
1003
1004
1033 - Started Popping up today

65101 - Patch Supergroup TG 102 and 1004 - Sounds like a patch to VHF

Are you guys hearing anything on the system? I don't think I have it set up correctly in my scanner.

I see someone is hearing dispatch for fire. I am pretty sure that is going to be the only non encrypted talkgroup

When I passed through there Tuesday, the supergroup for 102/1004 was clear and patched to the VHF SO2 repeater. Athens PD was still clear and busy on VHF only, same for Athens Fire. I saw 1001 busy on the P25 system fully encrypted but that was it.
