HF receiver or transceiver with sideband squelch??

I have a kit built syllabic squelch board that works on any HF receiver and I believe they are still available.

The Tecsun S-2000/Grundig 750 has a squelch knob but it's not that useful as it masks signals buried in the noise floor on HF. It's main use is for VHF airband.

I'll have to find it and I no longer have a vintage receiver to use it with. Seems like I bought two kits and I may have one unassembled.
