No i say only that CB Radios are years behind Amateur/ "Commercial" Radio not that i want to buy any.
how about that / what is different between them:
AE 7500 AM/FM/SSB CB Radio
AE 5890 EU,CB Mobil,Multi 4 Watt AM/FM, 12 Watt SSB
MIDLAND 8001 XT AM/FM/SSB CB
President Grant II AM FM SSB
JACKSON II ASC Classic Chrome
AE 7500 AM/FM/SSB CB Radio (Mobile)
Best functions in common controls. No button menus to hunt for functions. I would choose this one personally.
AE 5890 EU,CB Mobil,Multi 4 Watt AM/FM, 12 Watt SSB (Mobile)
Great for CB or convert to HAM Amateur Bands. Costs more. Only benefit is resale to Amateur person.
Must use menu buttons to change many functions. Not quick to change a function.
MIDLAND 8001 XT AM/FM/SSB CB (Mobile and Base Station uses and functions)
This is a more a CB with many of the desired functions. It has the look and feel of a CB base station as well. I would choose this one personally.
President Grant II AM FM SSB (Mobile)
Great for CB. Must use menu buttons to change many functions. Not quick to change a function.
JACKSON II (Mobile)
This is a more a CB with many of the desired functions.
AE 7500 and the MIDLAND 8001 XT are very nice radios. These would work good in many applications for CB.
