By Honey Brook Fire CompanyFebruary 17, 2010 On Tuesday Evening, the Honey Brook Fire Company was dispatched to a vehicle accident on Route 322 at north Birdell Road. Deputy 33 went enroute along with Ambulance 33-1 and were advised that the caller reported hearing an accident and screaming in the area. Rescue 33 went en-route with eight volunteers followed by Traffic 33. Captain 33 arrived to find a two vehicle accident not blocking with one vehicle on its roof. Deputy 33 arrived and assumed Horseshoe Pike Command while Ambulance 33-1 arrived and began patient care while Rescue 33's crew split with half securing power and controlling hazards on the two vehicles and also assisted EMS with patient care. Units cleared approx. an hour and a half later after police did their investigation.
