By Honey Brook Fire Company January 10, 2011 Shorty after 10:00pm, the Honey Brook Fire Company along with Brandywine Hospital Medics were dispatched to the 2300 block of Beaver Dam Road in Honey Brook Township for an auto accident with entrapment. Deputy 33 (Klinger) and Ambulance 33-2 went enroute within a minute of being dispatched and was advised by the 911 center there were reports of one vehicle into a utility pole with the driver still trapped inside.

Deputy 33 and EMS arrived onscene and confirmed the report of one still trapped from 33-20 (Mellinger). The crew's from Rescue 33 and Engine 33-1 stabilized the vehicle and utilized hydraulic rescue tools to gain access to the driver while EMS handled patient care. The driver was taken to a local trauma center for further treatment. All units cleared shortly after midnight. Passenger side of the vehicle after removing the door and victim. The vehicle's cab was seperated from the frame upon impact. Crews work on removing the patient from the vehicle after removing the passenger door. Space left after impact between drivers door and center of vehicle. Jr. FF Kern helping place equipment back on the Rescue.
