I would like to explore the possibility of setting up either a private or public P25 talk group hosted on my own server/platform. The motivation behind this is that using the currently hosted talk groups via my hotspot has been quite frustrating due to frequent freezing and dropouts. This issue seems to be affecting everyone I communicate with on these specific talk groups, leading me to believe that the problem is not on my end.
I have installed DVSwitch, but I'm not confident it will meet my needs. Additionally, I came across DVMProject, but that also doesn’t seem to be the right fit.
While I'm not an expert in Linux, I have a decent understanding of it.
Are there any guides available for hosting your own P25 talk groups? The ones I've found so far have only added to my confusion.
