How do you hook 1 antenna to two radios with a SWR meter. I have a delta 3 position switch. Not sure what goes what in-line. I’m will be using the Yaesu ft-847 and the Yaesu ftm-400. With a daiwa SWR power meter. With a three position alpha delta switch. Any help and guidance will work great.

Be VERY careful about putting multiple radios on a switch, a transmitted signal from one radio can destroy the receiver of another. At the least, the switch needs to be a grounding type with the unused positions being shunted to ground.

Far better to use two antennas.

The switch will have 3 ports and a common.

In your case, you hook one radio to each port (1, 2 or 3)
The common port would go to your antenna.

If you want to use the SWR meter on both radios, put your SWR meter between the common port of the switch and the antenna.

Radio 1---> Coax Switch port 1.
\
Common switch port ---> SWR meter -----------------------------------------> antenna
/
Radio 2----> Coax Switch port 2.

If the switch has at least 40dB isolation between ports through 500MHz it will be fine. That would knock a 50w VHF//UHF signal down to 7dBm or about 5 milliwatts.
