If you use the Zadig that comes with SDR# v1920, it will give you the correct driver for the genuine RTL-SDR.COM Blog V3 and V4 because it will add the 261KB rtlsdr.dll Application Extension for you.
Buy RTL-SDR Dongles (RTL2832U)

I don't have enough experience with trunking to tell you which device is best for you. However, if you use the V4, your Device Manager should look like this, showing Blog V4:

Zadig is difficult to use. I can give you step-by-step screenshots.
Yes, please.

RTL-SDR.COM V4 Driver Using Zadig in SDRSharp v1920
I first checked my Device Manager to see what SDR device driver was installed; it was for a NOOELEC V5. I could have uninstalled it, but decided to see if Zadig would be able to replace it.

Download a fresh copy of SDR# v1920, unzip to folder there, and rename:

More after lunch.

to continue:

Open SDRSharp v1920 Folder. Note there are 20 items. Click on install-rtlsdr.bat while connected online:

Run anyway:

Press any key:

Note there are now 2 new items added, the rtlsdr.dll Application extension and Zadig. Click on Zadig:

More later.

This is where Zadig gets tricky. What you want to see is Blog V4 listed as a device so that you can reinstall its driver.

Well, this isn't very helpful. Try unplugging the V4 and reinserting it in the USB port. I use a short USB extension cable.

This is a little better, Click on Options:

RTL-SDR.COM V4 Driver Step8_1.jpg

Click on List All Devices:

Click on Reinstall Driver:

More later.
