I could be wrong, but if I were Lindsay and I needed more moderators I'd PM those people I felt I could entrust that responsibility to and see if they wanted to do it. Also, I'd tend to ignore someone who kept begging to do it, simply to avoid having everyone else beg too.

Just my humble opinion.

OK, I was born in Texas and haven't moved from Houston all my life. I listen to the Fire, EMS and Police departments in and around the Houston area, along with a couple of businesess. I know almost everything about the police and fire for NW Harris County, but I'm not begging to be a moderator in the Texas forum. Flame wars are what make this fun!!

we did go thru this same exercise.

Usually, I'll approach some well established folks on these forums if the need for moderators and administrators comes up.

Until then.... status quo.

Who all falls in the status quo category for moderators and administrators?

I see an handful sprinkled out as moderators under each state listing, but how about admins.

I searched and thought I would find an area giving these guys some recognition also, but didn't.

When the website was trunkedradio.net, you could go to a page that somewhat looked like this one here:

http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=Members

There would be a little graphic beside a username if they had additional website duties.
