Where the heck can I find one??

I just got a Home Patrol 1 that has a dead spot on the screen, dead as in black.

Everything else works great.

The Uniden website frankly says that the screen cannot be purchased on their site.

I am perfectly ok with replacing it myself on a budget if I can find one.

There was another thread posted about that a very short time ago..... the touch screen displays are not available. Check this link:

HP-1: - Homepatrol 1 broken screen

I moved recently and my homepatrol screen was damaged in said move. I'm too broke to purchase an entire new one, and am hoping I can either A) get it fixed at a reasonable price or B) fix it myself at reasonable price as well. Anyone else have any luck fixing one?
