HTML5 player code issue

I "think" this is where this belongs.

I have a scanner feed using Shoutcast, the feed works fine. But I am trying to paste in a player code to a site hosted on Google Sites and none of the players will play. Obviously Flash players are extinct, but even HTML5 players REFUSE to work on Google Sites. Yet all over the internet people are showing that it can be done, But its beyond me on how to make it work.

Any developers or webmasters have a suggestion?

I have embedded audio into google sites in the past with no issues. Have you tried using any of the simple generators out there? Here is one for example: Really simple HTML5 audio player
