Well, since I am sitting here in Baytown, Texas I don't have much good to say about it.

There are still dead people in refrigerated trailers across the street from my house and now it looks like another killer storm is about to hit. ENOUGH!

I work for Vinton Police Department, we stayed for the storm, the east end of the eye wall hit us good, but we are ok here in vinton, la. Lots of damage in our town and had some fires throughout the storm. Lots of damage to the Lake Charles area, if anyone could get up some live feeds from Louisiana state police Troop D or any surrounding agency's that would be great.

Well that wasn't fun. I lost power Friday evening around 7:30pm. Got it back yesterday (Saturday) around 3pm. Cable and internet were dead until about noon today (Sunday). No new damage to the house. Lots of limbs came down but nothing big like with Katrina. My biggest concern was that the winds were from the East and I have several large pecan and oak trees on the East side of my home just waiting to fall on me if pushed from that direction. After I get the repairs done to my home I'm going to find a tree service to come cut back some of these big trees and limbs over the house.
I hope everyone else is OK.
